I am a passionate Computer Science student, currently in my second year at McMaster University. I am interested in Software Development and learning about new technologies. When I was first introduced to Computer Science, I instantly fell in love with it. Writing a program in Python felt like solving a puzzle, it was thrilling. From simply printing out "Hello World" to building a physics calculator in Java, my passion grew with every step.
I have fueled this interest by building projects, participating in different hackathons and taking online classes to enhance my learning. I am a fast learner and am open to new opportunities!

Hackathon: Hackation
A mobile Android application created to help people relax/destress during quarantine through meditation and music.
Worked on the UI using Flutter and built interactive pages to allow the user to track their meditation.
Hackathon: She Hacks
A full stack web application that showcases woman owned businesses and connects customers to them.
Led the development of the backend using Python, Flask framework and PostgreSQL, implemented jinja2 in the frontend to display dynamic content.
Won Best Gender Equality Hack!
Developed a calculator using Java and Swing API that can perform calculations based on physics formulas.
Calculator was used by 7 other people and on average saved 1-2mins per question.
Developed an application loosely based on Twitter, where users can share their thoughts on different topics. Enabled the users to create a personal profile, post status updates and add other users as friends.
Utilized Django framework on the backend and created the frontend using HTML,CSS and JavaScript.
Utilized Bash to create a script that manages files and makes them easily accesible based on user inputs.
Features include finding all shell files and making them executable, a count of file types, words/vowel count in a file.
Used python to create an interactive game of BlackJack between the user and the computer.
Users had the option to play an unlimited amount of times and were able to quit the game at anytime.
